Library Services

We are constantly evaluating our services to be sure that we are bringing our community the latest and greatest services. If you have a need, let us know ... we may be able to help.

The Library will be adding NEW rooms ... a conference, a lab, and a story hour room. We will be rebuilding our old handicap ramp too.

Keep in mind that many of our services are now online. Visit our ONLINE RESOURCES page to learn more.

You can watch, listen and read from your home too. Just download and enjoy our digital materials without stepping foot inside the Library.

We are just not about books. We offer many unique items to borrow, from museum passes to rakes.

LIBRARIES are for EVERYONE means that we will do our best to provide library services to everyone.  Let us know if you have a need - maybe we can help!

LIBRARY ACCESSIBILITY is important. We provide delivery to homebound patrons and are  planning for parking lot pick up starting January 2019. If you are homebound, we will deliver items to your Cold Spring home. If you have seeing or hearing disabilities, we can provide reading/listening devices to help.

ASK a LIBRARIAN your questions. Contact a Librarian with your questions in person, via email, or telephone. Don't be shy, just ask.

BORROW STUFF from us! We loan what you would expect a library to offer ... books, movies, and research materials. We also offer downloadable audiobooks, ebooks, movies, and music (keep 3 songs a week), yard tools, power washers, leaf blowers, humane animal traps, museum passes, a sewing machine, and hiking and camping equipment.Oh, and we don't charge fines!
